HOW IT WORKS
SlowCam records using your phone’s Camera2 API and automatically detects every resolution and frame rate your camera actually supports, including high-speed capture modes on phones that have them. Nothing is hard-coded: if your phone can film at 240 FPS, SlowCam offers it. If it can only do 30 FPS, that’s what you’ll see.
To create slow motion, SlowCam keeps every single frame your camera captured and stretches out the time between them. A clip filmed at 240 FPS and slowed down 8x plays back at a smooth 30 FPS, four times longer than the original. No frames are invented, duplicated, or generated by AI — only the frames your camera actually recorded.
